Last week I got the video shot in my full uniform. Once I get the footage back I will have it online quickly. Here is a photo of me with the unicycle in full uniform.
I think the 70’s look has come together nicely. Now if only I could grow out the fro…
Last Tuesday I went to Weber States Dee Events Center to get some footage of my act in a large stadium. Some of the basketball team came in while we were shooting video and I had some pretty strange looks. I think they might have enjoyed it as one of them commented that it was pretty awesome.
It went well and I hope to get the video soon so that I can create a promo video to share. I will post the video here as soon as I can get it back and put together.
Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.
The quote above is true for me. I would just add a few words before perspiration. My version would read patience, persistence and lots and lots of perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success. My persistence is beginning to pay off. I am feeling and seeing myself get better every week.
Also, I have been trying to get the Dee Events Center at Weber State University’s campus scheduled to shoot some professional video footage for about three weeks. Yesterday, I finally got it scheduled. I will be recording there next Tuesday morning. Hopefully I can be on my game in the early morning and we can get some great footage. I get to test out my progress in a large arena with my full costume on. Hopefully the video will be processed quickly and I can have it up by the end of the month. Look for a way better video than the one that I posted last week.
This is me practicing a few weeks ago.
I'm getting a little better.
I have been grinding away on my old unicycle for 7 months now. The tire is almost worn through in a few places and it has been getting squeaky and kind of wobbly on me. I decided that I better check it out to see if it is broken before I ended up on the floor. Here is the fork of the unicycle:
I am glad that I had a spare unicycle on hand so I can continue my training without any interruption. My first unicycle has been good to me so I think I will have to save it somehow. This will look good on the wall right?
