The UniHoops Community Outreach
Halftime entertainer, Whit Johnson, understands the value of building communities and strengthening families. In his small way, he helps where he can. From his charitable home state efforts of co-founding a nonprofit organization to his country-wide efforts of motivating students to reach their potential, Whit knows the value of one guy (with one unicycle) trying to make a difference.
Through UniHoops, Whit hopes to reach students across the nation through his assembly performance. His “Just Bounce” School Assembly delivers 45 action-packed minutes of amazing unicyling and juggling seamlessly tied together with powerful messages. Students’ are taught to Bounce Up to reach high goals, Bounce Back when obstacles block their path, and Bounce Out of bad situations.
How It Works
Any school may contact UniHoops to schedule an assembly at any time. However, Whit knows that it is costly for schools to simply educate their students. Cool assemblies are often expensive and too lavish for the average school. When Whit is booked to perform a halftime for a college, university, or other type of team, he coordinates with that organization to sponsor an assembly for a nearby school. With UniHoops already in the area, there are no travel fees and a nearby school gets a fun, motivating, and potentially life-changing assembly!
If you are a school that has been contacted by UniHoops to potentially receive a free assembly, sponsored by your local team, please click here to fill out the form. There may have been several (1-4) schools nominated to receive this free assembly and your submission will be reviewed by your local team who will pick the winner for the free assembly!
If you are a school and have not been contacted by UniHoops to potentially receive a free assembly, you can schedule an assembly by clicking here or you can call your local University, College, WNBA or NBA team to tell them to book UniHoops for their next game so you can receive your free assembly!
